In the biomass granulation process, if the raw material moisture does not meet the granulation requirements, it needs to be dried. Drum dryer is a widely used drying equipment, can dry, wood chips, straw, rice, and other materials. Equipment operation is simple, stable operation.
Hot air enters the dryer cylinder from the hot air stove, and materials enter from the feed inlet. In the dryer, the materials are raised by the lifting plate, and then the hot air contacts the materials to take away the water in the materials. The material comes out from the discharge port, and the hot air is drawn away from the upper end. The movement of materials mainly depends on the propulsion of the lifting plate.
Drum dryer, which cannot work by itself, generally needs to be equipped with heat source (hot blast stove), fan, shakron and sometimes dust removal equipment.
Drum dryer itself is composed of cylinder, feed port, discharge port, ring gear, aperture.
